Bacteria, to kill or not to kill

As the title suggests, we may need to second guess using that bottle of germ-x or antibacterial soap, as certain studies suggest, consuming bacteria can be more useful to our bodies then previously suspected.

Although there are products called probiotics, there is very little awareness of the health benefits of consuming certain bacteria or microorganisms, which are already present in our body and assist certain bodily functions, such as digestion or metabolism, which suggests that it can directly cause weight gain or weight loss. Interesting isn't it?

There's probiotics in all sorts of products like yogurt or some granola bars, juices or some milks, maybe we should opt in to the probiotics market and show some interest in research of consuming more beneficial microorganisms or bacteria.

I've read around about consuming bacteria and I've seen articles about how the western diet is lacking in lots of beneficial bacteria, as well as anything else beneficial, I honestly think it's our faults for our food habits and what exactly mainstream is and healthy food isn't quite there yet, as many of you can already assume, we've been killing the very things that regulate us, although I don't suggest running to the nastiest thing you see and eating it thinking you'll be getting some kind of super bacteria to make you as strong as a pro fighter in days, but rather reconsider what exactly you're eating and finding out exactly what your body needs, or wants, just so you can assist your body in being healthy.

Similarly, there are probiotic supplements, from gel capsules to liquids, you can purchase lots of different kinds of probiotics, here I will list a few to choose from and what its purpose suggests.

Before you buy any product, make sure you make yourself current with bacterias and what their purpose are in our bodies.

Align, Digestive Probiotic Supplement
Bifidobacterium(wikipedia)
Bifidobacteria aid in digestion, are associated with a lower incidence of allergies and also prevent some forms of tumor growth. Some bifidobacteria are used as probiotics.
Accuflora, Probiotic Acidophilus
Lactobacillus(wikipedia)
They are a major part of the lactic acid bacteria group, named as such because most of its members convert lactose and other sugars to lactic acid. The production of lactic acid makes its environment acidic, which inhibits the growth of some harmful bacteria. Many species are prominent in decaying plant material.
Bifidobacterium

 Enzymatic Therapy - Acidophilus Pearls
Lactobacillus
Bifidobacterium

Those are amongst others, but in searching for probiotic supplements you'll be noticing a trend in the group of bacteria that are packaged into these supplements, most of them recurring, so make sure you research the item before you buy it.
